No offense to Cleveland, but Tennessee Williams got this one right. There is no doubt that the city of New Orleans has a unique and intoxicating charm. Few places can offer what New Orleans can. The History, Culture, Food (oh the Food!), and the People. I often describe New Orleans as one of those cities that gets in your soul if you allow it. In order to embrace the magic of the city you need to take a step back, clear your mind, and open you heart to everything that surrounds you. The Architecture and details of the city speak volumes about the human story and inside of it you can find a bit of your own personal story. I like to walk through the streets and image the buildings could talk, oh what a story they could share. After nearly 300 years of history, these streets have seen so much.
Part of my mission as a photographer is to help you see these streets, buildings, and architectural details in a why that you might not see everyday. I want to show you what I see, and I want you to find meaning in that for you. Take a walk, clear your mind, and find your story in the streets of New Orleans.
